Laure-Catherine Beyers

Laure-Catherine Beyers is a Belgian soprano and one half of Duo Ardea, formed with Serbian pianist Ana Ostojić. The duo won the inaugural IVC Theatre in Song competition in September 2025, taking the Van Riemsdijk Theatre in Song Prize - the top honour of the new IVC competition format dedicated to art song presented theatrically.
Their winning programme drew on the late-Romantic and twentieth-century art-song canon, reworked as a staged recital that the jury cited for its unified theatrical voice and the close communicative bond between soprano and pianist. Beyers studied at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and has built her early career around the lieder and mélodie repertoire.
Since the IVC
Beyers is touring with Duo Ardea following the Van Riemsdijk Prize win. The duo's competition programme remains in active repertoire and is expected to anchor their concert dates through the 2026 season.
