ivc.nu uses only the storage strictly necessary to operate the site. Visits are counted with Umami, which sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. We do not load any advertising or social-media tracking cookies.
We set a single localStorage flag, ivc-consent, the first time you dismiss the notice at the bottom of the page. The flag remembers that you have seen the notice so it does not reappear on subsequent visits. The flag stays on your device and is never sent to our servers. If you object to visit statistics (see below), a second flag, umami.disabled, is stored in the same way.
Umami Software, Inc. (Umami Cloud, umami.is) counts page visits on our behalf. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and, according to Umami, does not store your IP address. See our privacy statement for what it records. If we ever embed a third-party service that sets cookies (for example a ticketing widget or video embed), we will update this page first and ask for explicit consent.
The notice at the bottom of the page is informational. We do not place any non-essential cookies. To count visits, Umami reads a few details from your browser, such as the page address and title, the referring page, screen size and language, and how quickly the page loads and responds. Article 11.7a(3)(b) of the Telecommunicatiewet allows this without consent when it only measures how well the site works and has little or no impact on your privacy. We rely on this because no cookies are placed, visitors are counted with a monthly-changing code, and Umami processes the data under a data processing agreement. You can object at any time below.
You can stop Umami from counting your visits in this browser with the button below. Umami then sends nothing until you switch counting back on. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, Umami does not count your visits either.
